After a year of being open we have decided to show appreciation to our most notable customers. Omar Jimenez is our first player of the month. Omar is strictly a tabletop war game player, most notably Warhammer 40k. Omar is here every Thursday with his Eldar army to provide an opponent for anyone else who wishes to play. Omar is a great sportsman and brings a positive attitude to the game and that is why Dark Matter Games has chosen him for Customer of the Month for November 2012.
I decided to take some of the cards from our binders and play the most expensive deck possible at our Magic Game Day. I played all the standard legal shock lands and one copy of each of the standard legal planeswalker I added Huntmaster of the Fells and Geist of Saint Traft. i won the game pictured above but i proved that money does not make a deck win.
32 players came to October Star City Games Invitational Qualifier trying to win the $250 and the illustrious blue envelope.
